I’d like to caption it, “Opening up a can of…pan?” ha!
This happened a few nights ago while I was preparing dinner for my family.
To skeptics out there who say, mom brain is just an excuse…
you are dang right it is!
Having worked on my projects until 2am when not one but two children were awake from 2-4:30am and the youngest until 6:30am. Snuck a quick hour and a half nap in before my day began caring for my 3 children 6 years of age and younger. Driving everyone to their daily activities, making breakfast, snacks, lunch, changing diapers, wiping mouths, hands, bums, zipping up coats, tying up shoes, generally keeping them safe and entertained, putting a load or two of laundry in, as well as a load of dishes, referee-ing said children, getting at least one down for a nap, and somehow it has become time to prepare dinner!
I actually spun the handle on that opener a few times before I realized what I was doing.
It was close though ~ I mean the sauce does go in to the pan…
Trying to open an already open sauce pan instead of the sauce can itself. Forgetting where her phone, keys, shoes are. Requesting assistance from her children by calling them all by the wrong names. Perpetually late and usually wearing her ‘uniform’ of yoga pants and messy bun. She will shower at some point this week, and may put on makeup as well, but let’s not get carried away.
it’s a real thing – and there’s the proof.
Wishing you all nights filled with glorious SLEEP!!
