I love Fall and all of the beautiful colors that it brings!
I wanted to create something that would bring those colors inside,
so I came up with this fall garland, made with stiffened burlap leaves.
It accomplishes everything I had hoped, and was super easy to make!
I purchased burlap from Hobby Lobby in the following colors:
Red, Rust, Orange, Yellow, Cream, Pea Green, Dark Green
I then stiffened the fabric using this process:
HOW TO STIFFEN BURLAP
Once the burlap was dry, I cut out my leaves.
You can print your own leaf pattern here:
I then stitched my leaves together with embroidery thread and a needle.
I stitched the first leaf on the tip and then overlapped each additional leaf.
You can watch the entire process here!
I hope this inspires you to make your own!
Happy Fall y’all!
