Can you believe 2016 is coming to a close!? Where did these last 12 months go!? It’s been quite the ride! The following best of 2016 posts were our readers most loved DIY projects this year.
We can’t thank you enough for your support and encouragement this past year! OH do we have some good things in store for 2017!
DIY Rustic Barnwood USA : One of our readers favorite projects two years running!!
DIY Wood Chalkboard Banner : One of our easiest projects this year and big favorite! So versatile ~ this wooden banner can be personalized any way you like.
DIY Wooden SMILE Signs for Teachers : Another simple and easy project with big impact. We love hearing how much teachers have enjoyed receiving these little plaques this year!
How to Stiffen Burlap : Can you ever have too much stiffened burlap!? I think not. 🙂
DIY Children’s Picnic Table : Definitely one of my more challenging builds this year, but one of my favorites! I really stretched myself and my confidence for building grew leaps during this project. I have bigger things in store for the new year all thanks to this little guy.
DIY Baby Gate : We are hoping to have use for this gate in the coming year! No news yet, but stay tuned. I’ll share a bit of our fertility journey this year as well for those of you who are interested.
How to Clean Reclaimed Wood : Can you ever have too much gorgeous old reclaimed wood in your stash!? I think not (again)! 🙂
DIY Doily Dream Catchers : These dream catchers were so fun to make! We will be finishing up the kids bedroom this year, and I can’t wait to finish up their space!
DIY Leather Hair Bows : Aren’t these bows delicious!? I have a problem. I can’t stop making them. If you know me personally, you received these for birthdays, showers etc… and I know many of our readers dove in and created these as well. Once you start you can’t stop! I have some fun easy gift ideas like this in the works as well for 2017.
DIY Wood Box Centerpiece : Simple, versatile, and an excellent beginner project!
DIY Multi-Purpose Chalkboard Easel : This project I might be the most proud of… I had a vision of the end result in my head and I made it happen. We actually get more use out of this project than I ever thought we would!
DIY Wood Christmas Tree : Last but certainly not least! This project was hands down our reader’s favorite project this year! We raised $275 for senior care in New Braunfels Texas, and it was an honor to participate in our first Festival of Trees!
Bring on the new year!!
